Abstract

This work shows the design and implementation of a low-cost drone for use in confined spaces. The drone is made with commercial materials and customized elements through 3D printing. The system is robust and lightweight. The work focuses especially on the design of the exoskeleton. The system reaches a weight of 895.3 g and an autonomy of about 13 min. This calculation is performed analytically and validated through commercial software.
