Abstract

This paper proposes a new discretization model for Duffing oscillator dynamics which is governed by a second order nonlinear differential equation. A Taylor-Lie formulation based method has been used for discretization. A detailed analysis and comparison of Taylor-Lie discretized model with Euler discretized model has also been done.
